Valerie Franchi

Biography

Valerie has a BA in English and French from the College of the Holy Cross and spent more than a decade traveling throughout the Middle East – Abu Dhabi, Tunisia, Cairo, Bahrain and Jerusalem – as a reporter and editor for English newspapers and magazines. 

After moving back to the US permanently in 2005, she worked for the Telegram & Gazette and Community Advocate as a writer and copy editor. After going through her own divorce, she decided to embark on a new career and volunteered at the Worcester Court Services Center. She obtained her Paralegal Certificate from Assumption College and has worked for Attorney Wons since 2017.

She currently lives in Worcester with her three sons. In her free time, she enjoys trivia, binge-watching TV shows, puzzles, football, ‘80s music and summers at the lake.
